What preceded:
- Earlier, the publication Bihus.Info published an investigation that the wife of the deputy head of the National Police, Dmytro Tyshlek, did not get rid of her Russian passport as of the summer of 2023, and he himself uses the real estate and cars of the family of the partner of the leader of the Rostov criminal group.
- Also, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption exposed Tyshlek to the fact that he received valuable gifts in the form of free accommodation in luxurious houses that did not belong to him. But the Pechersk Court of Kyiv decided that everything is within the law.
- In December 2023, Tyshlek submitted his resignation report and was fired.
