After 4.5 years of colonies in the Russian Federation, Crimean Tatarka Latif Malakhov was released

The Crimean Muslim Latifa (Nina) Malakhova was released after she has been fully in the women’s colony in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. Now a woman lives in Simferopol occupied by Russia with her daughter, but remains under the restrictions that will be in force for another year. During this period, she is forbidden to leave the city, stay out of the house from 22:00 to 6:00, attend mass events, as well as change their place of residence or work without the permission of the inspection. She is obliged to mark twice a month and be ready for sudden checks. Malakhova’s direct language: “The first year and a half went through it. It was moral and physically difficult to get used. Then I took my hands – sports, reading, proper nutrition. But health is still undermined.” Details: Malakhova reported problems with the stomach, constant headaches and weakened immunity. During his prison, she lost 12 kilograms. Malakhova said that she did not suffer physical pressure or torture in the colony, but twice found herself in the penalty for carrying out the prayer (compulsory prayer) in the workplace. She later managed to negotiate with the administration to pray during breaks. After his release, the woman spent several weeks in her husband’s relatives in Bashkiri, and then, together with her daughter, moved to a rented apartment in Simferopol. The girl lived in her family all the time of imprisonment. Her husband – Ruzil Yapaparov is still in prison. Malakhova’s direct language: “It is very difficult. To be especially far from family and child. Glory to Allah, I’m home now.” What preceded: Latif Malakhov and her husband were detained by FSB staff on February 14, 2021 in Kazan, after which they were transferred to Crimea to choose a preventive measure. Together with them, their monthly daughter Melissa was brought to court. The criminal cases of the spouses were considered separately. On July 7, 2021, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Malakhov, accused of assisting a terrorist organization, through charitable activities and collection of money on the Internet, up to four and a half years in prison in a general regime colony.”, – WRITE: www.pravda.com.ua
