Rudinsky is a theater and film actor, known for his role in the film “Rock, scissors, paper”who received the award BAFTA for the best short film. During the award ceremony, he dedicated his speech to the actor and friend who died in the war Yevgeny Svitlychny.
The film by the British-German director Franz Böhm tells about the attempt of a boy from a front-line town in Eastern Ukraine to save a local hospital from a Russian attack.

Ukrainian viewers are familiar with Rudynskyi from the TV series “The first swallows”short meter “Goodbye, Golovin”a movie “Rhinoceros” Oleg Sentsov. Oleksandr was born in Mykolaiv, he was engaged in theater art from school. He graduated from Ivan Karpenko-Kotlyarevskyi KNUTKiT, Dmytro Bogomazov’s workshop.
“Childhood in Mykolaiv is really hard work. What did it teach? The first and most important thing is independence. Since I was already working from the age of 12, I liked being financially independent from my parents.” – mentioned Oleksandr in an interview with Elle.
UP 100 – the annual project of “Ukrainian Pravda”, celebrating one hundred Ukrainian leaders, whose actions today shape the country’s independence, development and future. This year, the rating is published for the third time under the theme “Selection limit / Selection at the limit“. The award ceremony will take place on November 26 in Kyiv’s October Palace.
