The Ukrainian government has approved a decision that provides for an increase in monthly allowances for disabled family members Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Harmony.
From December 1, 2025, the monthly supplement to the pension payment in case of loss of a breadwinner will amount to 12,971 hryvnias. If there are two or more disabled persons in the family, this amount will be divided equally between them. Currently, these payments amount to UAH 5,000, UAH 6,500 or UAH 8,000, depending on the number of dependents – and were determined back in 2014.
From now on, payments will be added not only to the survivor’s pension, but also to the old-age or disability pension, if it is issued in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance”.
Today, 92 family members of 76 Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred receive pension payments in connection with the loss of a breadwinner.
