Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk (22–0, 14 KO) talked to journalists on the eve of the rematch with the British Tyson Fury (34–1–1, 24 KOs), which will take place on December 21 in Riyadh.
During the interview, the boxer was handed a letter from a Ukrainian soldier. Usyk carefully read everything that was written and thanked Oleksandr (the name of the military man – note) for his support:
“This gives me additional motivation. I am very grateful to Oleksandr and our Ukrainian soldiers who support my country and fight for its protection. I do it for them,” Usyk said.
Earlier it was reported that the boxer assessed the possibility of ending his career.
