A 42-year-old resident of Kyiv, together with his 71-year-old father, was stopped at the Mali Selmentsi checkpoint when they tried to leave for Slovakia.

The State Border Service of Ukraine informs about this.

The men claimed that they were on their way to relatives, and the son, who is a conscript, presented documents that allegedly confirmed that his father was terminally ill and needed constant care.

However, the border guards discovered that the documents had signs of forgery. They did not correspond to the official model and contained errors. Because of this, the Kyiv native was denied permission to travel abroad, and his actions are seen as signs of a criminal offense under Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — “Forgery of documents or their use.”

The State Border Service reminds of the futility of attempts to use forged documents when crossing the border. Thanks to modern inspection equipment and qualified personnel, border guards ensure reliable control and protection of the state border.

ArmyInform reminds that it is better not to break the law or risk your life, but to use the aggregator of vacancies in the Armed Forces and recruiting centers.
