In the Odesa region, a 16-year-old boy from the Safyaniv community was detained, who set fire to 2 transformer substations in the Izmail district for money.

According to the investigation, at the beginning of December, the young man came across an advertisement for “easy earnings” on the Internet and received an offer from an unknown person to set fire to transformer substations for a monetary reward.
“Having agreed, he looked for objects, bought gasoline, and in the evening went to pour over them and set them on fire. The attacker recorded the result of his actions on video and sent it to the customer for a report on the “work” performed, after which he received a reward on his bank card,” the report says.
The law enforcement officers seized the clothes in which he committed the arson, a mobile phone with a report, and a bank card with money in the account.
The perpetrator was informed of the suspicion under Art. 2 Art. 194-1 of the Criminal Code – intentional damage to two energy facilities, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
Law enforcement officers exposed a new technology of the Russian special services, which consists in involving minor Ukrainians in criminal activities under the guise of quests. In particular, in the Kharkiv region, minors were detained, in this way information was collected for the Russians.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained six more agents of the Russian special services who committed arson in the Kyiv and Mykolaiv regions.
