Details: According to the investigation, the Kyiv native joined the circle of volunteers, philanthropists and other people who help the Armed Forces, where he positioned himself as a reliable supplier of drones and other things for the military from abroad. At the same time, the man introduced himself by the name of his brother. In order to be trusted and recommended to acquaintances, the suspect actually bought drones in European countries to several people.

Later, in September 2023, he received 30 thousand US dollars from a potential buyer – part in cash, part in a crypto wallet. For this money, he promised to buy and deliver 6 Mavik 3t quadcopters for him abroad in 5-7 days. The buyer still hasn’t seen the promised drones. For a long time, the man told the buyer about the problems at the border, asked him to wait, sent a photo, and later turned off his phone and began to hide.
In the apartment where the suspect lived, during the search, they found masks that he used for the conspiracy, as well as lists of his customers, so currently other victims of the fraud are being identified.

Currently, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the person involved with the possibility of making a bail in the amount of 1,097,058 hryvnias. He was taken into custody in the courtroom.
