A winter storm with strong wind and frost continues in the Carpathians.
Rescuers report cloudiness and reduced visibility on Mount Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi, where the temperature has dropped to -5°С, and the wind is blowing at a speed of 13-15 m/s.
Forecasters predict that windy weather with wind gusts of up to 22 m/s will last in the Carpathians until October 30. Due to bad weather, a yellow level of danger has been declared in the mountains.
On October 28, cloudy weather with clearing and light rain is expected in Ukraine, except for the eastern regions. The wind comes from the west and southwest at a speed of 7-12 m/s, gusts can reach 20 m/s in places.
The daytime temperature will range from +8° to +16° depending on the region. Wet snow is possible in the Carpathians, with wet snow sticking in some places.
As a reminder, cloudy and humid weather is expected in Ukraine on October 28, warming will come from October 30.
