This year, 4,786 cheeses from 47 countries were presented at the competition. Among them are 27 cheeses from Ukraine.
The Bronze award was given to:
- Hard cheese “Goat cheese with truffle” — “Mukko”, Lviv region.
- Hard cheese “Legend” — “Dooobra farm”, Kyiv region.
- Hard cheese “Bikoz” — “Dooobra farm”, Kyiv region.
- Hard cheese “Gouda” — “Zinka”, Kyiv region.
- Cheese with white mold “Hoverla” — “Pumpkin Paradise”, Lviv region.
- Semi-hard cheese “Fondi” — “WineTime”, Kyiv region.
The Silver award was given to:
- Hard cheese “Korona” — “Zinka”, Kyiv region.
- Flavored cheese “Lopta” — “Mother’s cheese”, Transcarpathia.
In total, during the three years of participation in the project, Ukrainian cheeses have already received 34 awards, ProCheese added.
Recently, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine approved an order that makes changes to the safety and quality requirements of milk and dairy products.
It was also reported that Ukraine already has access to the export of agricultural products in 340 trade directions, and in the next five years it is planned to open new markets and increase the export potential.
