Defender of the Turkish “Trabzonspor” and the national team of Ukraine Arseniy Batagov will miss about a month due to an injury he suffered in training. This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Ihor Burbas.
During the preparation for the match of the championship of Turkey, the 23-year-old football player stayed at the training base to conduct individual strength training, but was injured.
According to the source, Batagov underwent an MRI, based on the results of which the estimated recovery dates became known. This means that the defender will definitely not be able to play for the Ukrainian national team in the qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
The opponents of the “blue and yellow” will be the teams of France and Iceland. Batagov received a debut challenge from head coach Serhii Rebrov.
