The State Geology and Subsoil Service of Ukraine held an auction for the sale of a 20-year special permit for gypsum mining at the Skovyatyn deposit in the Ternopil region. Its winner was Knauf Gyps Skala LLC. This is evidenced by the results of bidding on Prozorro.Prodazhi, LIGA.net writes. The auction was held on Thursday, January 16. For the starting price of almost UAH 119.61 million, the winner of the auction offered UAH 121.05 million for the license. Advertising: The offer of the second bidder – Kamianets-Podilskyi JSC “Gipsovik” – amounted to UAH 120.55 million. The Skovyatyn deposit with an area of 115 hectares is located 1-2 km from the village. Shyshkivtsi of Chortkivskyi (former Borshchivskyi) district. Its reserves amount to 43.9 million tons of gypsum. With an annual quarry productivity of 502,800 tons, they should be enough for 84.4 years. “Knauf Gypsum Skala” LLC, registered in Borshchev, belongs to the Knauf group (managing partners Alexander Knauf and Manfred Grundke).
