The Dergachy district court of the Kharkiv region found a 38-year-old unemployed resident of Kozachai Lopan guilty in absentia of collaboration.

“She was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies of Ukraine for 15 years and confiscation of property… Since the convicted woman is currently hiding from Ukrainian justice on the territory of the Russian Federation, the term of the sentence will begin to be calculated from the moment of the actual detention – reports the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
As it was established, during the occupation of Kozachoa Lopan, the accused assumed the position of a temporary acting precinct inspector in the territorial police division created by the invaders. In this position, the woman drew up documents in accordance with Russian legislation. In court, witnesses said that she conducted “searches” at the residences of local residents and also wore a uniform with a Z patch.
The accused worked in the occupation militia until September 10, 2022, and then fled to the Russian Federation with the invaders.
