A 46-year-old man was killed in Sumy region as a result of the Russian Air Force

Russian troops struck the border community in the Sumy region, resulting in a civilian, the prosecutor General General said on the evening of June 17.

“According to the investigation, on June 17, at about 4:00 pm, the enemy dropped, according to preliminary information, a managed aviation bomb on the civilian infrastructure of the Yunakiv community in Sumy region. As a result of the attack of the enemy, a 46-year-old man was killed in his own home, ”the message reads.

According to OGP, pre -trial investigation occurs on the commission of a war crime, which led to the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
