His colleagues immediately provided help, but doctors pronounced him dead on the spot.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko expressed his deep condolences to the family of the deceased and emphasized the heroism of the rescuers.
“Rescuers work every day where it is most dangerous – they enter destroyed buildings, work under fire, in fire, water and cold to save others,” he said.
It will be recalled that eight people were injured as a result of shelling of the frontline areas.
Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler Serhii Shumilov also died at the front.
