The 76-year-old singer, after more than 60 years on stage, announced at London’s Lyceum Theater on Tuesday that her upcoming album will be her last.
Taking the stage, the singer announced to the audience that she is ready to end her career – but not before releasing her first new project since 2013.
Cher joked that at 76, she’s happy to do any job, adding: “I’m older than the earth now, okay? I’m the oldest person I meet in almost every room, unless I’m in a nursing home.”
The pop star admitted she’s struggling to adjust to getting older and said she’s always felt the way she did and doesn’t know how to change it.
