As reported insider Nicolo Scirathe Madrid club have identified several priority targets, including Atalanta’s Ederson, Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka and Juventus’ Weston McKenney.
According to the source, it is the Brazilian midfielder of Atalanta who is currently the closest to the transfer. Atlético Madrid and Ederson have already reached an agreement in principle on a personal contract that runs until the summer of 2031.
It is reported that Madrid have actually “booked” the player’s transfer for next summer, but final agreements between the clubs have yet to be finalized. Negotiations with Atalanta are expected to intensify closer to the opening of the summer transfer window.
