Atalanta won at home against Cremonese with a score of 2:1 in the match of the 24th round of the Italian championship. The hosts decided the fate of the meeting already in the first half, scoring two goals, but at the end of the match they allowed the opponent to close the gap.

The score was opened already in the 13th minute – Krstovich successfully blocked Giacomo Raspadori’s pass and accurately punched into the bottom corner of the goal. Twelve minutes later, Atalanta doubled their advantage: Dzappacosta sent the ball into the net from an acute angle after Pashalic’s pass.

After the break, the team from Bergamo controlled the game and created a number of chances, but could not bring the score to a crushing level. Cremonese stepped up in the second half and tried to impose a fight, but most of the attacks ended in vain.

The intrigue returned already in the compensated time, when in the 90th + 4th minute, Thorsby took advantage of Luperto’s serve and reduced the guests’ deficit. However, there was no time left to save Cremonese, and Atalanta kept the winning result.
