The Ukrainian defender distinguished himself with a cool shot at Telstar’s goal.

Zinchenko started in the starting line-up and opened the scoring in the match. The Ukrainian received a pass outside the penalty area on the left half-flank and sent the ball into the right corner of the opponent’s goal with a powerful long shot.

The goal was Oleksandr’s first in an Ajax shirt since his move from London’s Arsenal at the beginning of February. Before that, the defender managed to play one official match for the new team.
Ajax currently sit fourth in the Eredivisie standings, while Telstar sit 16th in their division.
