Italian Pescara winger Lorenzo Insigne spoke about the possibility of returning to Napoli. His words are quoted by Sky Sport.

“About 20 days ago, Napoli director Giovanni Manna called my agent, discussing the possibility of my return. I said I was willing to come back and play for free, but they made a different choice.

Again, I didn’t take it to heart because I’m still a big fan of Napoli.

I’m sorry that Napoli are a little behind in the table, but I hope and believe that they will still have their say. In the last few months, I have felt the love from the fans. It makes me happy because in 12 years in Naples I left my mark, even if I didn’t win the Scudetto,” said Insigne.

At one time, Lorenzo Insigne played 434 matches for Napoli, scoring 122 goals and providing 95 assists.
