Saudi Al-Hilal has officially announced the signing of French striker Karim Benzema. This was reported by the press service of the club.

The 38-year-old forward has joined the club from Al Ittihad, with the deal taking effect immediately.

Benzema agreed to all personal terms and signed a contract for 18 months. The Frenchman will be part of the Al-Hilal project under Simone Inzaghi.

Earlier, Benzema and Al Ittihad had a conflict over contract extension and salary terms. The striker expressed his desire to leave the club and ultimately decided to move to a direct competitor in the Saudi Arabian championship.

Karim Benzema has been in the Middle East since the summer of 2023 when he joined Al Ittihad after a long and successful spell at Real Madrid. Now the experienced Frenchman will continue his career in Al-Hilal, with whom he expects to fight for trophies in the national and international arenas.
