When you play a lot, you need to find the right balance. Play a lot, rest a lot, train a lot. I see no other solution than to let them rest. I have full confidence in my players and I only think that we have performers of the highest level.
I’m a bit down on football, but it’s hard for me to get tired of it. I get tired if my team is not moving forward or if they are playing sluggishly. I get tired when I see my team not trying anything new, not being inventive. I like the period we are entering and I hope my players like it too,” said Spalletti.
