🔸 People’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” party, Orest Salamakha, died in a road accident in the Lviv region.
According to the DBR, the deputy driving the quad bike drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a minibus. There were no casualties among the minibus passengers. The People’s Deputy suffered severe injuries incompatible with life. After hospitalization, he died in the hospital. Orest Salamasi was 34 years old, he is survived by his wife and three children.
🔸 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the bilateral document on security guarantees from the US for Ukraine is fully ready. According to him, Ukraine is now waiting for a specific signing date from its partners. The agreement must be ratified by the US Congress and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
🔸 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that after the tripartite negotiations in Abu Dhabi, there were fewer problematic issues. He called the talks constructive and confirmed that the second stage is planned for next week.
In addition, Zelenskyi believes that the US should also be ready for compromise during negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine.

🔸 Former head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak restored the right to practice law. According to data from the attorneys’ register, Andrii Yermak resumed legal practice on January 23. Prior to that, he had not worked as a lawyer for six years — since February 20, 2020.
Since the beginning of the day, 129 combat clashes have taken place.
The enemy made 61 air strikes, dropped 155 guided air bombs. In addition, he used 4,983 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,782 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one enemy attack, the enemy carried out two airstrikes, using three guided air bombs, and carried out 69 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Zelene, Vovchansk, Prylipka, Staritsa and towards Izbytskyi. Ukrainian units repelled eight attacks, another combat clash is currently underway.
Six attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the direction of Pishchany and Petropavlivka in the Kupyansk direction.
On the Lymanskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 12 attacks in the areas of Sergiyivka, Drobysheve, Kolodyazi, Novoselivka, and Zarichne settlements.
In the Slavyansk direction, our defenders repelled two attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of Platonovka and in the direction of Yampol.
One attack was stopped in the Kramatorsk direction – in the area of the settlement of Orihovo-Vasylivka.
In the direction of Kostiantynivka, today the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders nine times near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Shcherbynivka, and in the direction of Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.
The enemy made 38 attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Shakhove, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards Filia and Novopavlivka. In some locations, fighting is still going on.
According to preliminary calculations, today in this direction our soldiers eliminated 52 invaders and wounded 36; destroyed 25 unmanned aerial vehicles, two units of road transport and a ground robotic complex, eight units of motor vehicles and ten shelters of enemy personnel were also damaged.
In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, Ukrainian units stopped five attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Verbove, Krasnohirske and in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia.
There were 14 attacks by the occupiers in the Gulyaipil direction – in the areas of the settlements of Solodke, Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka, and in the direction of Varvarivka, Zeleny, and Pryluk.
In the Orihiv direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of Plavny and Stepovoy.
