This season, Nascimento has made 23 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing four assists. The versatile forward can play as a central striker or on the right wing.
The move was a full transfer, not a loan, and is reported to be worth around €20 million with bonuses. Jovane passed a medical in Milan and can already make his debut in the match against Juventus on January 25.

Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis was the first to report the transfer on his X account, after which the club itself confirmed the information.
Giovane joined Verona in the summer of 2025 from Corinthians as a free agent and has already impressed in Serie A with three goals and four assists in 21 appearances.
Napoli are third in Serie A with 43 points and are preparing for an important meeting with the Turin club.
