The Italian forward joined the English club with the right to buy in the summer.
Lorenzo Lucca, Nottingham Forest FC January 23, 2026, 11:23 p.m
The agreement includes an option to buy out the player after the end of the current season.
The 25-year-old Italian moved to England after his impressive performances in Serie A, where he became Udinese’s top scorer in the 2024/25 season with 14 goals. In total, in two seasons as part of the club from Udine, Lucca took part in 75 matches and scored 29 goals.

A successful game for Udinese earned the forward five matches for the Italian national team, as well as a transfer to Napoli in the summer of 2025. Now Lucca heads to Trentside, where he will try to establish himself in the Nottingham Forest team, and his loan could turn into a full-fledged transfer.
Earlier insider Fabrizio Romano reported that the lease of Lucca will cost the English club 1 million euros, and the buyout option will amount to 40 million and is not mandatory.
