Verona announced on its official website the signing of a contract with Marseille defender Paul Lirola.

The agreement with the 28-year-old Spaniard runs until the summer of 2026. The footballer got to the Italians for free, as he was a free agent.

In the current season, Lirola played only three matches, in which he played 31 minutes on the field.

It should also be noted that Paul already has experience in Serie A, where he previously defended the colors of Juventus, Sassuolo, Fiorentina and Frosinone.

After 20 rounds, Verona has only 13 points and is in last place in Serie A.
