The 28-year-old forward went on an incredible run, scoring in six consecutive matches during a busy Christmas period. His goals came in important wins over Chelsea and Crystal Palace (double) and secured points against Liverpool
In the voting, Calvert-Lewin beat stars such as Erling Holland, Phil Foden and Ollie Watkins. December was a real benefit for Dominic. In addition to the official award from the Premier League, he also took home the following prizes: PFA Fans’ Player of the Month; Leeds Player of the Month; Scored the club’s goal of the month (for a strike against Sunderland that completed a 12-pass combination).
The achievement marks the striker’s renaissance and helps Daniel Farke’s side cement themselves in mid-table, away from the relegation zone.
