INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (22:00)

A total of 146 combat clashes took place since the beginning of this day.

Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on him.

The Russian invaders launched 28 air strikes, dropping 74 guided aerial bombs. In addition, 5,092 kamikaze drones were engaged for destruction and 2,740 attacks were made on the positions of our troops and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy launched 84 attacks, including six from rocket salvo systems.

Today, the enemy attacked six times in the South-Slobozhansk direction in the areas of Krugle, Ternova, Obukhivka, Degtyarne and towards the settlements of Prylipka and Grafske. One battle is currently ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made four offensive attempts in the direction of Petropavlivka and Kurylivka, one battle is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 assaults in the area of ​​the settlements of Novoselivka, Ridkodub, Zarichne, Yampil and towards the settlements of Lyman, Stavky, Drobysheve. Another battle is currently underway.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked six times in the area of ​​the settlements of Sviato-Pokrovske, Platonivka, Pazeno and in the direction of Zakitny, Riznikivka. Three skirmishes are ongoing.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.

17 combat clashes took place in the Kostyantynivsk direction today. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar and towards the settlements of Stepanivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 26 times in the areas of the settlements of Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Filia and towards the settlement of Kucheriv Yar.

Today, according to preliminary data, 100 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which 66 are irreversible. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 45 unmanned aerial vehicles, 12 units of automobile equipment, ten units of special equipment, four ATVs, also damaged one tank, three artillery systems, five units of automobile equipment, two units of special equipment, five UAV control points and seven shelters for enemy personnel.

In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Zlagoda, Verbove and in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia, one skirmish is ongoing.

In the Gulyaipil direction, 33 clashes took place in the areas of the Gulyaipole settlement and in the direction of Olenokostiantynivka and Varvarivka. In two locations, the fighting continues until now. Verkhnya Tersa, Barvinivka, Lyubitske, and Vozdvizhivka were hit by airstrikes.

At the moment, an enemy attack is underway in the Primorskyi area in the Orihiv direction.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other directions.

Today. There was a meeting with the negotiation group – according to all the results of communication with the American team. In fact, the guys are in touch every day, a lot has been done. We are negotiating with President Trump’s representatives about meeting schedules – our documents are largely ready for signing.

We expect that the format of Davos this year will be quite effective precisely from the point of view of our relations with partners and our recovery after the Russian strikes. Now it is necessary for the government officials to promptly analyze each of the documents of the economic agreements, so that all interests of Ukraine are fully taken into account. We are also working to create effective recovery financing mechanisms that are fair for Ukraine. I thank everyone who helps us.

We understand that the American side is constantly communicating with Russia, including on the basic document for ending the war. This is a political document, and we have formulated our vision – something that can actually work.

And although the diplomacy of Ukraine, America and partners has been extremely active for several months, the main question remains unanswered – the question about Russia, about what they are ready for there. Russian behavior and rhetoric do not at all indicate that they want to end this war or are preparing for it. Everyone sees it.

And it depends solely on the partners, above all on the United States of America and the President of the United States, whether Russia will choose: peace or further war. That is why the options of pressure on the aggressor must remain on the table – all options of pressure.

We can see how principled the attitude towards the tankers of the shadow fleet can be – what concerns the oil from Venezuela. If there is a will, it is possible to stop the movement of oil – no problems for the world market.

We also see that there are many tools to block anyone who circumvents sanctions or helps fringe regimes. Russia must try all this on itself already, if it does not go for peaceful solutions. Especially since the circle of Russian accomplices is narrowing.

And what is happening in Iran now – large-scale protests, in fact an uprising – is also a clear sign that it will not be easy for Russia. And every normal person on earth really wants the people of Iran to finally be lucky enough to be freed from the regime that is there and that has brought so much evil, in particular, to Ukraine and other countries.

It is important that the world does not miss this moment when change is possible. And every leader, every country, international organizations should now get involved, help people remove those who are guilty that Iran, unfortunately, was like this. Everything can be different.

Today I had a good meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway. Norway is one of our biggest helpers in defense. The leader in the PURL program, which allows us to buy American weapons, primarily air defense. Norway helped us a lot with air defense.

We again talked about the following things: the protection of the sky, our joint steps, our joint plans – both with Norway and with other partners in Europe. There is also a new support package from Norway – 400 million for the energy sector, for the stability of Ukraine. Eight billion a year will be aid to Norway. Very noticeable. Thank you!

And today he continued personnel changes – both in the regions and in the Security Service of Ukraine. There will be more solutions.

They also just spoke with Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko: recovery, work in all regions. Thank you to everyone who literally works for a living. We agreed with the Prime Minister to develop a special program to support precisely such people who work directly in repair crews, 24/7 in the most difficult circumstances.

The government will propose how to significantly increase the wages of such specialists for each winter month.

And be sure, please, to pay attention to the air alarm. There is intelligence information: the Russians are preparing a new massive strike. Drones for the depletion of anti-aircraft defense and missiles. They want to take advantage of the cold. In the coming days, this strike may take place.
