The final match of the 2026 Spanish Super Cup took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in which Barcelona and Real Madrid met. The Catalan club won with a score of 3:2.

The score in the meeting was opened in the 36th minute — Rafinha accurately punched into the far corner of Real’s goal. Already in the compensated time before the first half, Vinicius Junior equalized the score after an individual pass. Before the break, the teams had time to exchange two more goals: first Robert Lewandowski scored, and later Gonzalo Garcia restored the balance again.

The decisive goal was scored in the 73rd minute. Rafinha scored a double, scoring in a fall from the penalty area – after a ricochet from Raul Asensio, the ball ended up in the goal net.

At the end of the match, Barcelona remained in the minority: in the first compensated minute of the second half, Frankie de Jong received a red card. Despite this, the Catalans kept the winning score.

The Ukrainian goalkeeper of Real Andriy Lunin spent the entire match on the bench.
