The captain of Liverpool and the Netherlands national team Virgil van Dijk spoke about the end of his playing career. His words are quoted by Sky Sports.
“I never said that I was going to end my football career.
I don’t look too far ahead. I will play for a few more years, so I don’t know anything about the end of my career. The main thing is that I and the children are happy, and then everything will be fine,” said van Dijk.
The player’s current employment contract with the “Reds” runs until June 30, 2027.
