Russia attacked Ukraine at night with 70 drones, 46 drones were destroyed in 9 regions, 24 impersonator drones were recorded, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

According to the information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of January 9, the enemy attacked with 70 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation.

The air attack was repulsed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00, the downing of 46 “Shahed” type attack UAVs and drones of other types was confirmed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. 24 enemy imitator drones – lost in location (no negative consequences)

According to reports, private houses in Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and Cherkasy Oblast were damaged due to the fall of downed attack UAVs.
