Pistoiese officially announced the appointment of Cristiano Lucarelli as the head coach of the first team. This is reported on the official website of Pistoiese.

The 50-year-old Italian specialist has already worked with the club in the 2014/15 season and is well acquainted with its structure.

During his coaching career, Lucarelli managed a number of Italian teams, including Parma U-17, Pistoiese, Tuttoquoio, Messina, Catania, Livorno and Ternana. It was with Ternana that he achieved his greatest success, winning Serie C and the League Super Cup in 2021. His last place of work was Catania, which he left in the summer of 2024.

In the past, Lucarelli is known as a prolific striker who played for Atalanta, Torino, Parma, Livorno, Napoli and Shakhtar Donetsk. Currently, Pistoiese is in fifth place in Serie D, and the club promises to publish information about the coaching staff in the near future.
