Following Yuriy Vernydub, another well-known Ukrainian specialist starts work in the Azerbaijan championship,

As Azerisport reports, Ukrainian specialist Andrii Demchenko took over the vacant post after the dismissal of Elmar Bakhshiev. Negotiations between the club’s management and the 49-year-old Ukrainian ended successfully.
Demchenko is expected to join his new team in early January, just in time for the start of winter training. The coach is faced with the task of stabilizing the team’s results and improving its tournament position in the second half of the season. Currently, after 16 rounds, the club is in the 6th place, having 26 points.
Demchenko already has considerable experience working abroad, where he earned a reputation as a crisis manager and tactician: In Georgia, he successfully led Dila (Gori), with which he achieved success in the European Cups, and Dynamo Batumi. In Ukraine, the specialist worked with Kharkiv Metalist 1925 and Zaporizhzhia Metallurg.
Demchenko’s last place of work was Zhenis, Kazakhstan. With whom the specialist worked 17 games.
