Since the beginning of the day, 130 combat clashes have taken place.

The enemy launched one missile and 52 air strikes, used three missiles and dropped 118 guided air bombs. In addition, he used 3,274 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,015 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy carried out two attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders, carried out three airstrikes, using six guided aerial bombs, launched 124 attacks, four of which were from rocket salvo systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Dvorichanske and towards Izbytsky, Hryhorivka and Kolodyazny. Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks, another combat clash is currently ongoing.
Five attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the direction of Kupyansk — in the direction of Petropavlivka, Pishchany, Zagryzovy and Kupyansk.

On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped five attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, Novoehorivka, Stavky, Shandrigolovo and towards the Lyman. Another battle continues.

In the Slavyansk direction, our defenders repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Siversk and Dronivka.

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has not carried out offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the direction of Kostyantynivka, today the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders 14 times near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Kleban-Bik, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Ivanopil.

The enemy made 28 attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Ivanivka, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Sukhetske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Dachne, Filia and in the direction of Hryshyn. There is currently one battle going on.

According to preliminary calculations, today in this direction our soldiers eliminated 56 invaders and wounded 21; destroyed a control post, an artillery system, 36 unmanned aerial vehicles, three units of road transport, five units of special equipment, a ground robotic complex, two means of electronic warfare and two motorcycles; significantly damaged two artillery systems, two units of automobiles and a unit of special equipment, two control points for unmanned aerial vehicles and five enemy personnel shelters.

In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, Ukrainian units stopped 12 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Oleksandrograd, Vyshneve, Rybne, Zlagoda, Krasnohirske and Privilne settlements.

In the Gulyaipil direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 attacks by the occupiers near the settlements of Solodke and Gulyaipole, and one more battle is still pending. Zaliznychne, Ternuvate, Vozdvizhivka and Lugivske were hit by enemy airstrikes.

The enemy did not carry out offensive actions in the Orihiv direction, but it carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Novodanilivka and Zaporizhzhia.

In the Dnieper direction, three enemy attacks ended in vain for the occupiers.

Today is a very special evening. Christmas Eve This is a unique time that has a special spirit, its own special magic for all of us. Because this evening is actually about all of us. About everything that makes Ukrainians Ukrainians. It is love for one’s home, one’s roots and traditions, it is happiness when the whole family gathers at the table. When they finally met, hugged each other, asked each other: how are you? All these have always been integral attributes of our Christmas. But for the fourth year in a row, the fourth year of a full-scale war for independence, they are trying to take all this away from us. And we protect all this today: our land, our families, that desired feeling of peace and tranquility in our home. When we are warm. When we feel good. when we are together And despite everything, we are still together today. And it will be the same today, because it doesn’t matter whether at a distance or in person – Ukrainians… Ukrainians together. And no one can take this feeling away from us. And this feeling gives us hope, gives us all this and helps us hold on. Hold on despite everything.

We celebrate Christmas in a difficult time. Unfortunately, not all of us are at home this evening, and not all, unfortunately, have a home, and not all, unfortunately, are with us today. But despite all the troubles that Russia has brought, it is not able to occupy or bomb the most important thing. This is our Ukrainian heart, this is our faith in each other and this is our unity.

And that’s why millions of us will be waiting in the sky today for the first dawn. In the sky of Kyiv, Transcarpathia, in the sky of Odesa or Kupyansk – wherever they are. Ukrainians are together today. Christmas is celebrated on one date as one big family.

Undoubtedly, the times of war changed us. And now it is not so important how we decorate our home, but how we protect it. And it almost doesn’t matter what dishes are on the table, what matters is what people are at the table.

And that those who are currently protecting us and cannot be near us at home should be in touch. To hear their voice even for a moment, to receive the most valuable message: “I’m fine.” And joy is not brought by bright illuminations, but simply light – light in our homes and inside us.

And we are happy when we hear Christmas music, but even more so when we don’t hear the music of evil, we don’t hear drones and rockets flying overhead.

And as long as all this lives in our hearts, as long as the person lives inside us, as long as this faith of ours and this, such a simple but strong human desire to live has not died out, then no evil has a chance. And an additional proof of this is our beautiful children, who these days gather together, change into different outfits and go – just like in the past – to inform people about the good news.

The birth of the Son of God. And just like in the past, we open our doors and open our hearts and we keep these traditions of ours, and just like in the past, we all sing our carols together. And it is so important and valuable that all this was preserved, did not disappear, was not erased, was not forgotten, and continues and lives. And as long as this happens, we have not disappeared, as long as life will win, as long as Ukraine is protected.

Ukrainians have long believed that the heavens open on Christmas night. And if you tell them your dream, it will definitely come true. Today we all have one dream. And we make one wish
on everyone

“For him to die,” everyone will say about themselves, but when we turn to God, of course, we ask more widely.

We ask for peace for Ukraine. We fight for it. And we pray for it. And we deserve it. So that every Ukrainian family lives in harmony. So that every Ukrainian child will be happy with a gift, smile, and keep such an important childhood faith in goodness and miracles.

So that the eyes of our children, the eyes of our parents, our loved ones, relatives finally do not cry. For good and truth to win. That there was a victory for peace. And we were. And there was Ukraine. And without a doubt – the day when everyone will gather at home in the first peaceful year, a peaceful Christmas, and say to each other: “Christ is born! Let us praise Him!”
