When asked if Timber is the best right back in the world, Saliba answered on air CBS Sports without hesitation:
“Yes, by a huge margin. For me, by a huge margin, he’s unbelievably, unbelievably strong. He’s almost impossible to beat one-on-one and offensively he’s also very good. I hope he continues to play at that level because he’s a top, top, top player.”
When asked if he really considers Timber to be the number one in the world in that position, Arsenal’s French defender added:
“First or second, for sure. It depends… but first or second.”
