Epicenter won an important and convincing victory in the duel of UPL newcomers, defeating SC Poltava 3:0 in Kropyvnytskyi in the 15th round and strengthening their chances in the fight for survival.

Serhiy Nagornyak’s team looked much more collected and sharper. First, Giovane completed an exemplary counter-attack after Cifuentes’ rush. The Poltava team responded with a few shots from Marusich, but each time he shot directly at goalkeeper Bilyk.

After the break, Epicenter quickly doubled the advantage: Seberio hit the crossbar from a turn, from which the ball, according to the referee’s decision, did cross the goal line. In the future, Poltava created only one chance – again through Marusich, who missed his header this time.

Demchenko put an end to the match. After Sifuentes scored a free kick, he placed the ball perfectly in the back nine, scoring a spectacular third goal.

The victory allowed Epicenter to break away from the relegation zone, while SC Poltava will spend the winter there.
