Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalyonok shared his impressions after the defeat against SC Poltava with a score of 1:2 in the match of the 14th round of the Ukrainian Premier League. The football player noted that the main problem of the team once again became the failure to realize goal opportunities.

“We didn’t score our chances, there were a lot of opportunities. Poltava created the first chance in stoppage time before the first half and immediately scored a goal in the locker room. In the second half, they tried to change the situation, again they didn’t score much and conceded again.

We analyzed Poltava’s game and knew how they would play. It wasn’t a surprise, but we didn’t capitalize on our chances and conceded.

They messed up the tempo of the game and they did it on purpose, but that too has a right to life. It’s just that in matches with such teams, you can’t be the first to concede. It is necessary to score first.

We always support young guys. They are well done. Redushko came out and gave a goal assist. I wish them success.

We need to climb out of this hole and raise our heads. If we are going to give up, it is better not to go out to play. We will do everything to get out of this crisis,” Pikhalyonok said.
