In France, a scandal is raging around Nice: a group of fans attacked the players after another unsuccessful game of the team. According to Foot Mercato, the incident occurred after a 1:3 defeat against Lorient — the club’s sixth in a row.

The team is in deep crisis, with Nice down to tenth in Ligue 1 and bottom of their Europa League group without a single point in five rounds.

After returning from Brittany, the footballers were warned that angry fans were waiting for them at the training base. Although initially it was about 200 people, about 400 supporters of the club gathered on the spot. One of the fans entered the team bus and demanded that the players come out into the crowd.

The fans first chanted demands for the resignation of head coach Frank Es, after which they directed aggression at the football players. Terem Moffi and Jeremy Boza were especially hard hit – they were pushed, punched in the face and spat on.

In social networks, part of the ultras stated that these two players “should no longer play for the club.”

The management of Nice has not yet commented on the situation.
