Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Florin Chernat was appointed sports director of the Romanian FCSB. This was reported by the press service of the club.

Before that, the 45-year-old Romanian worked in the second league of Romania, where he was the sporting director of the Voluntari since the summer of 2018.

It will be recalled that Chernat played for Dynamo from January 2001 to the summer of 2009 with a one-year loan to Hajduk in the 2007/08 season. He has 196 matches, 41 goals and 37 assists.

After 16 rounds, the reigning FCSB champion has scored 20 points and is only in ninth place in the Romanian championship.
