The 40-year-old Brazilian confirmed his decision on Wednesday, November 19, during an exhibition charity match in Curitiba at the Arena da Baixada.
“I’m already tired. Today I’m already tired after running a little more than 30 minutes. There’s nothing else in football that can motivate me. I’ve already achieved everything in it. Everything I could get, I got. Now it’s time to enjoy life with my family,” Fernandinho said after the game.
