Portuguese centre-back Thiago Gabriel has only been playing for Italian side Lecce in Serie A since the start of 2025, but has already garnered a lot of attention even outside the Apennine Peninsula.

It recently became known that the English Brentford is seriously interested in this 20-year-old performer, who signed a contract with the “wolves” for only two and a half years.

However, the “bees” will have a very serious opponent during potential negotiations in the form of Turin’s Juventus.

And this interest of the “Old Signora” is no longer just a rumor, but a fact confirmed at the level of the Lecce management in the person of General Director Pantaleo Corvino.

“Juventus is interested in Thiago Gabriel, but we want to keep him until the end of the season,” the Italian official said.

The Portuguese has 13 matches and one goal scored this season.
