New Atalanta head coach Raffaele Palladino has commented on the situation surrounding striker Ademola Lukman, stressing that the decision on his playing time will be based solely on the player’s performance in training.

Lukman, whose attempt to leave the club last summer created tensions with previous coaches Gian Piero Gasperini and Ivan Juric, had a personal conversation with Palladino during the international break.

“I called all the players who are in the squads and Ademola made a very good impression on me. I will only judge his playing time based on what I see in training – exactly the same as everyone else,” Palladino was quoted as saying. Sky Italia.

In the current season, Ademola Lukman spent 645 minutes in 10 matches for Bergamo, in which he scored one goal.
