The head coach of Manchester United plans to speak personally with six iconic ex-players of the club in order to bring back the winning mentality to Old Trafford.

According to Goal, Amorim has made a list of six legends of the club that he plans to call in the near future. This list includes such icons as Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Harry Neville and Rio Ferdinand.
Amorim wants to understand what made Sir Alex Ferguson’s same United so invincible, and how to pass that spirit on to the current generation of players. The coach wants the legends to appear more often at the base in Carrington and interact with the team, helping the young footballers to realize the weight of the emblem they wear on their chest.
The move is part of a major overhaul that Amorim calls the “next level” of the club’s renovation. He is convinced that it is impossible to build a successful future without a connection with the past triumphant experience.
