The 25-year-old French goalkeeper’s contract with the English club runs until the summer of 2026 and is unlikely to be renewed. Because of this, Leeds plans to sell Mellieu already in January at a reduced price.
At the same time, both Milan clubs are looking for reinforcements in the goalkeeper position, with Inter’s Jan Sommer approaching 37 years of age and the club questioning whether to extend their cooperation, while Milan’s Mike Magnan does not want to extend his contract, which also expires in the summer of 2026.
