The son of coach Diego Simeone will remain in the team for another five years after a successful start to the season.

The 22-year-old son of Atletico head coach Diego Simeone has become one of the team’s key players this season. He has three goals and five assists in all competitions in the 2025/26 season.
Giuliano comes from a football family, with his brothers Gianluca and Giovanni playing for Rayo Vallecano and Torino respectively.
Atlético are currently fourth in the Spanish league, six points behind leaders Real Madrid.
