The forward of the youth national team of the Czech Republic, Louis Buffon, became the main character of the Euro (U-19) qualifying match against Azerbaijan. The striker scored a hat-trick and helped his team to a crushing victory with a score of 6:1.

In the first round of qualification, the Czech Republic won a convincing victory – three goals were scored by Buffon (54, 64, 90+3), one more goal was added by Penks, Shvantsar and Sosn. Azerbaijan’s only goal was scored by Jafarov, and in the 75th minute, the guests remained in the minority after Yabrazilzadeh was sent off.

In addition to scoring three goals, 17-year-old Buffon also scored an assist.

Let us remind you that Louis Buffon is the son of the legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. The young striker recently made his Serie A debut with Italian side Pisa, but represents the Czech Republic internationally as he holds dual citizenship – his mother, Alena Šeredová, is Czech.
