Allegri’s team quickly took control of the game. Alexis Saelemakers opened the scoring with an accurate shot into the bottom corner after a pass from Christopher Nkunku. Subsequently, the Belgian earned a penalty, which Rafael Leao confidently converted – 2:0 in favor of Milan.
Parma did not give up and got back into the game before the break – Adrian Bernabe powerfully shot from the left into the far corner with no chance for Mike Mainyan.
After the break, the hosts completely seized the initiative. Milan looked confused and allowed a lot to the opponent. In the 70th minute, Enrico DelPrato equalized the score with a header after a pass from Sasha Britchgi – 2:2.
In the end, both teams could win. Saelemakers and Pulisic had great moments, but failed to score. Maignan also saved Milan several times after strikes from Bernabe and del Prato.
