On Tuesday, the newspaper Tuttosport announced the winner of the prestigious Golden Boy award — the best young football player in Europe under the age of 21. In 2025, the prize went to PSG winger Desiree Douet.

Last season, Doue won every trophy with the team, including the Champions League. In the final, PSG defeated Inter 5:0, and Désiré scored a double.

The Golden Boy Award has been awarded since 2003. Over the past five years, it has been received by Pedri, Gavi, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal and now Desiree Douet.

Earlier it was reported that Messi, Yamal and Guler are among the nominees for the title of the best playmaker of 2025 by the IFFHS.
