Girona made it through the 1/64 finals of the Spanish Cup with difficulty, beating Constantia, a representative of the fifth division, on the road. The match ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the Catalans.

From the first minutes, the Ukrainian goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov was part of Girona. In the second half, Viktor Tsygankov joined the game – at the 58th minute, and later – Vladyslav Vanat (75th minute). It was the Ukrainian connection that became key at the decisive moment of the match.

In extra time, Tsygankov put the team ahead after Vanat’s pass, and a few minutes later, Vladyslav himself scored his first goal in the Spanish Cup and the third for Girona in general.

Girona reaches the 1/32 finals of the tournament, where they will continue the fight for the Spanish Cup.
