Chelsea got a new record holder. 18-year-old Brazilian winger Estevan Willian became the youngest player in the club’s history to score in a Champions League match.

In the match of the 3rd round of the 2025/26 Champions League group stage against Ajax, Marc Giou first set the record. The Spaniard, who was born on January 4, 2006, opened the scoring in the 18th minute from Wesley Fofan’s cross.

However, his achievement lasted less than 30 minutes. Late in the first half, Chelsea earned their second penalty of the match and it was Estevan who converted to make it 3-0. The Brazilian was born on April 24, 2007, making him the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history in the Champions League.

As of the break, Chelsea confidently crushed Ajax with a score of 3:0, and in the second half proved their advantage to 5:1.
